There once was a man
Whose name hope envisioned
Who was stricken
With a bout of confused indecision
He believed in the bright side
Of this dark and unfair life
Positive, he was sure hugged
Every inch of his happy lucky strife
Darkness was when his rainbow grew
It was where his smiles were born
And in the bowl of joy hate brew
Hed smile and wave and give thumbs up
Take hands and shake and give thanks
Then as the dark encroached on his luck
The fight to keep it off would fail
Hed allow it to steal his happy
And his anger inside him would wail
The negative comments fell out
Of his mouth like a dam burst from the pressure
Like here is his handle and there he did spout
The danger was within a perfect skin wrapping
He had the looks and the charm
His positive nature was a façade; major lacking
What are the three good things about you
He was asked on occasion
And he would drop a line or two
Saying how hes always with a smile
Hes upbeat and above all
Positive by nature, positive without rival
Theyd see that smile and believe him
And without question hed have no argument
Until they started to see the light dim
To see him dark
Uncaring and loveless
And on his forehead a vain would mark
His anger in vast contrast
To the happy and the joy
But his lie did not last
The positive nature in him didnt hold true
And his display of falsehood melted
Then a person everyone thought was new
Became him with a vengeance of distrust
Blood soaked negativity roared
And the real him faltered in lust
For things that negative would feed
Things that hatred would grill
Things that evil would need
The positive he faked and said he was
Fell off like a mask at a ball
Those that believed him just cause
Were beyond plain dumb and extensively moronic
Warnings and signs of his pestiferous nature were plentiful
His words were sugarcoatedly sardonic
There once was a man
Whose name hope envisioned
Who was stricken
With a bout of confused indecision
Positive he wasnt not even an inch
And negative he certainly cultivated
His darkness had a distinct stench
For fools always thought he cared
But selfishness he hid
The brunt of his negative others did bare
And that made things ever so cold
For this is the story of a man
His name highlighted positive with bold
Something in another that never should rust
Other than his name no evidence unveiled
For any other name his game would be dust
Such is the advantage of the man named Eli Trust.

Man...
I tell ya,Being this 53x makes a Boy thirsty
You know, you look like a tall gass of water
.....And i do so like my moisture....
I did want to do it without rhyming. ha. Yeah but see I have this thing when I start thinking of lines in poems I come up with great rhyming words and then that just makes it difficult to say no to rhyming.
Some people when they rhyme have to think about what they are doing a little more than me. They just pop into my head so it's hard not to rhyme. So this time I just did ever other. That was hard. ha.
and thanks for the fav.
